Improving legibility
Working with the product team at NPR, we led design research which focused on legibility of the responsive website. This research provided competitive analysis and recommendations to improve the reading experience on desktop, tablet, and smartphone devices. Key takeaways included minimizing the complexity of page layouts, optimizing line lengths within smartphone and tablet viewports, and adjusting web typography based on competitive analysis. This design research was later used with redesigning the NPR story pages.
